Child Safety Policy
Version 2026-10-28. Soma kwa Kiswahili
Children's safety comes before everything else on this platform. Everyone who uses it, including teachers, parents and staff, must follow this policy.
How we check teachers
Every teacher's documents are checked by our team before they can publish a course. Teachers must agree to this policy. A verified badge and the teacher's details are shown on each course page so you know who is teaching your child.
How children appear on the platform
- A parent or guardian creates every learner profile.
- Learners are known by first name only.
- Learners cannot message each other privately.
- We do not record live classes.
- Money and parent settings are behind the parent PIN.
Rules for teachers
- Teach only through the platform. Do not move a child to another app or channel.
- Never ask for, or share, a child's phone number, address, photos or social-media accounts.
- Never contact, meet or give gifts or favours to a child privately.
- Speak and behave respectfully at all times. No shouting, shaming, bullying or inappropriate talk.
- Report anything that worries you straight away.
What we ask of parents
We recommend sitting near your child during live classes, keeping the PIN private, and telling us if something does not feel right.
Reporting a concern
Write to admin@creatorz.co.ke with what happened, the class or teacher involved and, if you can, the date. We keep reports confidential.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 or 112 first. Childline Kenya's free child helpline is 116.
What we do
We read every report promptly. We may remove a teacher or learner from classes while we look into it, and we will tell the proper authorities where the law requires it or where a child may be at risk.
