Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-28. Soma kwa Kiswahili

runs this website and app (the "platform"). By signing in you agree to these terms. A parent or guardian agrees for the learners they add.

Accounts and learners

Accounts are for parents, guardians and teachers who are 18 or older. A parent or guardian creates a profile for each child and is responsible for how the child uses the platform.

Keep your Google account and your parent PIN private. Learners use a first name only.

Courses and lessons

When you buy a course, you and the learners on your account may use it for personal, non-commercial learning. Please do not share your login, copy, record or resell lessons.

Prices are in Kenyan shillings (KES) and are shown before you pay. Some courses are free.

Wallet and live classes

Your wallet holds money you have paid in. You can spend it on courses and live classes. Live classes are charged per minute at the rate shown for the class, and the charge stops when you leave.

Your wallet cannot go below zero, and a class ends for a learner if the balance cannot cover the next minute. Wallet money cannot be sent to other people.

Unused wallet money: see the Refund Policy.

Payments

Payments are handled by Paystack (M-Pesa or card). We never see or keep your card number or M-Pesa PIN.

If money left your account but your purchase does not show, wait a few minutes. We check automatically. If it still does not show, write to us with the payment reference.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund on a course within 7 days if your learners have done no more than 30% of it. Full details are in the Refund Policy.

Behaviour in classes and on the platform

Be kind. Please do not bully, use bad language, share personal contact details, take photos or record live classes, or try to get around the platform's safety settings.

We may remove someone from a class or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Child Safety Policy.

Teachers

Teachers are checked before they can publish a course (see the Child Safety Policy). Teachers own their lessons and allow us to show them on the platform. Teachers must not copy other people's work.

A teacher earns 25% of each course sale and of live-class income. Earnings from a course sale are held for 14 days before they can be withdrawn, and a sale that is refunded is taken back from the teacher's earnings.

Our content and yours

Lessons, designs and software belong to us or to the teachers. You may not copy or resell them.

A learner's work and voice recordings stay with the learner and parent. We only use them to run the service, as explained in the Privacy Notice.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we ask you to agree again when you sign in after an important change.

You can stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete a learner's data from the Parent area. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the platform running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Kenyan consumer protection law, or any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Questions: admin@creatorz.co.ke. , , .
